Location and value for money

The toilet facilities especially in adjusting the HOT/COLD water temperature and the water flow from both, the bah- tub tap and the shower . For instance, as we were showering we faced difficulty to stop the water flowing from both the tub tap and shower thus the water become hot mostly after the temperature adjustment.

Breakfast: variety of food for breakfast. there’s diff set kind of menu for other day. Shuttle bus: its free to shopping mall such as BCS, Nagoya Hill and Grand Batam.

Rooms: the walls no sound proof, loud music can be heard from their ktv lounge. Toilet: shower head could be fixed with something better. the water splashing out to the floor. its dangerous when come down from the bathtub.

I really thought all the staff were great.

I really thought all the staff were great. Reception, dining room, security housekeeping all did an excellent job and nothing was ever a problem. The pool area and fitness center were also very good and the pool area is in the sun all day. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday in a good location

I thought the breakfast was a little expensive at 110000 IDR although it was well presented . Some mornings the Western food was very limited. Otherwise there was a good selection of Asian food.

The trianguler shaped bath tub was spaceous enough. Presence of 2 TVs in both the living area and the bedroom.

This was my 1st time staying in the hotel, and probably the last. I booked for an executive suite online from Bookings.com. Upon arriving and after check-in. The receptionest briefly sent me to a room that wasnt the same as what was listed. In the site, it stated that there would be a kitchenette. But upon entering the room, there was no sight of thr kitchenette and the room was definitely much smaller. The planet disco on the ground floor B1 was so loud that even my executive suite on the 10th floor can still hear the techno music songs from my bedroom. They keep pumping the songs till as late as 9.30am in the morning which really disturbed my sleep. Breakfast choices was also rather limited, coming from a 4-star hotel. Furnitures in the room were old and the carpet in the bedroom is uneven. Seems somehow or rather part of the carpet has popped up, but yet the house keeper whom I suppose should have visited the room regularly to perform house keeping never bother to do something. The floors in the living room area seems dirty too. I accidentally dropped some rice near the foot of the small round table. Yet after 2 days, to my surprise the rice were still there. The cupboards, drawers and the lamp shades were dusty. The standing shower room was really small and tight for a single person too. Overall I wouldnt pay for the premium rooms in future should I chose to stay there again. The lobby sitting area was really hot in the morning. I sat there for about half an hour and I'm sweating like hell! Overall, considering that I paid for an expensive executive suite but yet I see such things happening. Hence it was disappointing indeed

Was a very pleasant stay. All the staff a very friendly.

The rooms are very comfortable. And they already have extra pillows. And we ask extra bolster they never charge us thats was great. I will give 10/10

I wont say didn’t like but the breakfast can be better and more variety to choose. They mee soto was very nice. For breakfast i will 6/10

The hot pool.

Was informed that 16th floor is a non-smoking floor. But we can still smell cigarette's pong on various occasions. The walkway, our own room, the lift. Even when we first arrived, the room did not smell good, was filled with cigarette's pong. Requested to changed room, but was told that there is no availability.

Friendly front desk, fast and efficient check in/check out.

No directories in the room, so don't know what they have at each floor. Hotel a bit run down.

good hotel in a bad place

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Only 5 mins by taxi (30k idr) or 15 mins walking from Harbour Bay, 5mins walking from the nightlife district. Planet Holiday has seen better days but it does its job, it offers a great massage service for just 22k and it features probably the best night club ( F1 ) on the Island. If you REALLY HAVE TO come to Batam ( I mean it ) this hotel is a solid option with a good value for money

Ok but not so good..

Ive stayed few times at this hotel.. to date, everything is ok.. opted fr bday package & cake.. To Mr Hendy, ty so much fr the decor & cake.. BUT, it could be better if a)theres candles to brighten up the celebrations.. b)knife to cut the cake.. c)the cake is place nicely on the table as it was a surprise celebrations..(instead of leaving it in the box & plastic was there d) LASTLY, SAD to say, ants were everywhere on the table & cake.. this is very disappointing.. Hope u can do better next time..

Bfst time can be better.. as it was a super peak period, mayb u can plan ahead to tackle the crowd.. some hotels do hv plan B, like having 2 restaurants fr bfst time.. nt only was it super crowded & long queue, food r gone in a minute & waiting time r slow.. & also, beds in the room are still having the same issue.. can feel itchy whenever u lie down.. & please be aware that they r baby cockroaches in the rooms..

EXCELLENT SERVICE STAFFS BUT...

ALL ground service staff did their job excellently.

We've stayed here many times. When it's festive period, hotel should have anticipated breakfast will be crowded. Food not replenished in time. They should have been aware it's full house and the amount of food to be prepared for their buffet breakfast. Also, hotel need to monitor demographics( race groups) staying at the hotel who are unethical. Bringing empty containers to load up foods for their lunches or tours. Pardon me. I'm not being racist. I've seen these similar groups of tourists doing same at any other hotels too. This is not a new hotel that have not experienced festive cycle throughout the year. Poor management planning!

Could be perfect!!!

Location is good. Atm nearby, there’s Swimming pool, sauna room, gym.. room are spacious..

Went to the spa for a massage, massage was good.. but the atmosphere was quite bad. First of all no soothing music or aromatherapy smell..the kind u would expect to feel relax in.. then room was not sound proof or the lack of soothing music makes u can hear outside noises. Breakfast wide variety of choices but taste wise could be better.
